Learning doesn’t have to happen in a traditional classroom, or look the same for every child.

Rain & Shine offers flexible, individualized support for homeschoolers and other learners taking a different path. We can work toward academic goals, explore interests, build confidence and independence, or simply create more opportunities for meaningful learning and connection.

Learning Built Around the Child

Every family is doing things a little differently. Sessions can be shaped around what would be most useful for your child.

Academic Support
Reading, writing, math, projects, skill-building, or extra support in an area that needs attention.

Hands-On Learning
Projects, games, experiments, creating, building, and learning by doing.

Nature & Community
Learning can extend beyond the classroom through local parks, trails, libraries, community spaces, and field experiences.

Social & Life Skills
Opportunities to practice communication, independence, everyday skills, and learning alongside others.

Homeschool & Alternative Learning

Let’s Build What Works

You don’t need to fit into a particular homeschool style or have everything figured out before reaching out. We can talk about what your child enjoys, what you're working toward, and where another educator might fit into your family's learning.

The Rain & Shine Cabin

The Rain & Shine Cabin is our home base for learning in Carson, a space for one-on-one support, homeschool learning, hands-on projects, playing, creating, and connection. With outdoor space right outside the door, learning can easily move between the Cabin and time spent exploring, playing, and learning outside.

The Cabin is currently a work in progress as we get it ready for the winter trimester. These photos are a peek at the space as it comes together!
